WHAT THE FUCK!?!

Dear Pitchfork Media,

Back in march, you wrote a review about a Portland band called Jaguar Love, and you gave their album, Hologram Jams, a 2.0. In this review you said that their lyrics were “annoyingly deployed in the manner of a 15-year-old’s Facebook page, they feel target marketed, a strategically laid-out shop window display devoted to spazzy youthful dumbassery.” Then, last night I turned on my computer, and found to my extreme surprise, that not only is Kanye West’s new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, in your best new albums list, but you gave it a perfect score of 10.0. So, singing about starting fires and mastodons is “annoying” and “spazzy,” but singing about toasting “douchebags” and “scumbags,” and pronouncing the word ridiculous “redicolis” about 200 times in one song, is eloquent and genius? What the fuck, Pitchfork… what the fuck?

P.S. I hate you.
