Heineken Trickery – WOW

While researching a certain project, for a certain class, taught by a certain sassy redhead, I came across one of this years CLIO winners. The project was put together as part of a campaign for Heineken. The Innovative Media category winner was done by JWT / RMG Connect, Milan, and was part of their “Heineken, Made To Entertain” campaign.

Pulling a trick on more than 1000 people is hard, but if done correctly you can bet your sweet ass people will be interested in seeing how you did it and why. Obviously, JWT knows this and took full advantage. This video recap of the events that occurred, and the following explosion of attention, gave me the chills. This is the first time an advertisement has made me shiver, but hopefully it won’t be the last. Watch and enjoy.
